The Search Works welcomes Gary Reid as new Director of Search Performance
The Search Works, the digital performance marketing company and the UK's largest search specialist, has appointed Gary Reid as Director of Search Performance. Gary will be leading the search engine optimisation (SEO) team and will be responsible for maintaining the company's reputation in tailored SEO and implementing new internal processes to improve quality of service.
Gary has over eight years of online marketing experience. Prior to joining The Search Works, he was head of natural search at 360 Innovative, before which he spent four years running his own SEO business. As Director of Search Performance, he will be working with the company's current list of SEO clients, including Black Horse Car Sales, easyJet, VisitBritain and Park Resorts.
Gary will also help expand The Search Work's blue chip client list for SEO across travel, retail, finance and media sectors. He will also work with Ben Gibson, general manager for Europe, to assist the growth of the search specialist's SEO offering outside the UK, working with The Search Works' local language search team to deliver SEO projects for existing and future pan-European clients.
Commenting on the appointment, interim MD Chris Simpson said: "This is an exciting development for the company. The level of personal experience he brings will help us make The Search Works the number one brand for SEO."
