NMA: Industry fustrated
Google has missed its promised deadlines for releasing details of the tiered best practice payments being made available under its new Third Party Program, creating fustration among leading search marketing agencies.
SEM agency Searchworks had its meeting with Google cancelled last week. "I'm beginning to lose faith," said COO Jim Brigden . "If deadlines keep slipping you start worrying."
He added that while the search industry is used to being flexible about budgeting, the lack of forward information was troubling clients.
"They're getting frustrated with Google," he said. "They're having to live with an ambiguous situation and no one likes living with ambiguity."
